I miss the vast mountain I once visited.
I miss every tree and blade of grass in the forest.
I miss the leaves and dead branches I stepped on back then
I miss the warmth of orange in the cold wind
The bluebird lives in my imagination, erratic and as fragile as paper, yet it roams the world with tenacious vitality.
I folded a blue bird and let it take me to the place where the sun shines every day, flipping through the thoughts stored in my mind.
